We are lucky enough to be hosting a give away sponsored by Mother Goose Time!
What is the prize?
Two bags of manipulatives to use with your preschooler or children at home!
Every month Mother Goose Time sends us two bags of manipulatives; one for counting and one for shapes! Whats even better is that they correspond with our monthly theme!
What are manipulatives?
They are physical objects used to teach various concepts of mathematics in a hands-on and tactile manner. They bring abstract concepts to a physical form and allow children to connect with and understand the concept.
What are some concepts that can be taught with these fun, colorful manipulatives?
Counting; graphing; sorting by shape, size, and color; addition and subtraction; geometry; measurement; and patterning! Most of all, they open a world of imagination and student-directed learning!
Some of the manipulatives we have received over the past two years have been numerous animal counters, beakers, stringing beads, geo boards, counting cubes, letter tiles, transportation counters, stacking blocks, geometrical shapes, linking sticks, food counters, plastic nuts and bolts, magnetic shapes, and the list goes on and on......
If you win, you will be surprised with two bags of amazing manipulatives created specifically for Mother Goose Time curriculum!!
Enter below and don't forget to visit the other Blog Ambassador pages for more chances to win! Good luck my friends!
